Googster?

Reuters is reporting that Napster is in talks with Google about a partnership and possible sale. Though great for Napster, I see this as a downer for consumers, mainly because Google employees the free-wheeling kind of folks prone to do wacky things (like let anyone upload content and set their own price), so instead of the promise of a unique offering, we'll get just a repackaged version of the current Napster. Then again, based on the release of Google Video, which leaves much to be desired from a user perspective, maybe a Napster acquisition wouldn't be so bad.
